A project for transformation
Born in 1991, Saheb-Jamal Rahimi lives in the village of Garkaz, located in the Jargalan region of North Khorasan Province, Iran. She is the first female journalist in the Jargalan area, working as a local correspondent and collaborating with various press organizations. As a social advocate in the region, Rahimi has a strong passion for working with children and founded a small library in the village of Garkaz. In 2022, she decided to continue her education, and in 2023, she began studying Educational Sciences at Payam Noor University of Bojnord. With 20 years of professional experience in weaving carpets, she joined the project in 2021, during which she has designed and woven five carpets, including one in collaboration with her mother (Taqan Beike Barzin) and her Sister (Nazanin Rahimi) and another with the children of her village.
